There are two chances to see Miriam live during July.  This Saturday, July 2, Miriam will be performing during the Big Scoop event in Wimberley, TX from 3-3:15pm.  Short performance, but there will be ice cream and much more at the event!  Come enjoy the day and all the activities.  This event is a fundraiser for Camp Good Sam. Admission is $10.00.

The second performance will be at Rio Raft RV Resort in Sattler, TX, on July 9th from 7pm-10pm.  Miriam will be doing an all acoustic show with friend and fellow artist, Jensen Collie.  This show will be a lot of fun and you don’t want to miss it!  Great music, on the river, makes for the perfect summer night in Texas!  Admission is Free.

Miriam has been planning to record her album this summer and this week she started!  She went into the studio with Tommy Byrd and recorded the song, Impossible.  She wrote the lyrics, she and Tommy wrote the music.  They were joined in the studio by Chip Dolan on the piano.  It was the first time Miriam and Chip had met.  He liked Miriam and invited her to his gig that night at Gruene Hall.  Then he invited her to sing a few songs with the band!  You can check out one of those songs on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MiriamHobbsMusic/videos/871832002928837/

The rest of July will be consumed with the writing and recording process, but in August we will see Miriam performing again on a regular basis.  We hope to see many of you on July 2 and July 9th!!
